Welcome to the Lot 6 Website

This website is laid out to provide information to the various stakeholders that may have an interest in the affairs of "Lot 6".  This website is organized according to the rights, interests and obligations of each stakeholder group.  There are 3 distinct sections to this website: Public (the site you are viewing now), Shareholders, and Board of Directors. 

The public section provides information and a point of contact to anyone who might have an interest in Lot 6, including neighbours and other residents.  The shareholder section deals with matters that are of interest to the shareholders, and the Board of Directors section is an administrative area.  The last 2 sections require a username and password to access.

 

 

What is Lot 6?

Lot 6 is an irregular shaped parcel of land (shown in yellow on the map below), which includes mainly:

 A) the beach area in front of Adventures West Lakeside, and down the east side of River of Golden Dreams beside and beyond Adventures West Riverside; and

 B) Crabapple Drive beyond the Barnfield Farm bus stop, to the dead end.

Lot 6 is privately owned and is divided into fractional interests.  Approximately one-half of the fractional ownership interests are held by the strata owners of Adventures West Lakeside, Adventures West Riverside, Alta Lake Resort, and the Barnfield strata subdivision.  Ownership interests are also held by most of the owners of houses located on Crabapple Drive South of the bus stop.

The owners of 3 houses with separate beach access on Alta Lake at the end of Crabapple Drive do not own an interest in Lot 6, but they have an easement over Lot 6.  The owners of these waterfront lots have an easement over Crabapple Drive to allow them access to their homes and to place sewer and water lines under the road. 

The main role of Lot 6 Maintenance Corp. is to coordinate the maintenance of the road, the beach and the trail to the beach, which is located between Adventures West Riverside and AW Lakeside.  It is also responsible for maintaining the sewer lift pumps located beside the curved road near Adventures West Lakeside's parking lot, which pumps service many of the properties of the Lot 6 owners and easement holders.
